I am SO excited you are here today, it’s a little bit of a curveball in that I’ve never talked about this in this way, BUT I really think it’s going to be impactful. We’re talking about letting “it” go.

& what I’m talking about, is the view of our relationship with our parents and how they “should” act as parents.

Sometimes, it’s not that we JUST need to take action, but that we actually need to look at things through a different lens, and honestly that tiny little reframe can really help us in an impactful way to start making moves right?

“Anyone that you’re thinking about that ‘should’ act in a certain way, where is that coming from?”

“Why not just assume the best in people, it feels better. When we’re holding on to grudges or resistance or negativity, that’s not serving anyone and it doesn’t physically feel good in our body.”

“We can choose to love them, and do the only thing that we can do: control ourselves.”

“What our choice to do is? Is to own what we CAN control, which is our thoughts about these people.”
